After-School Tuition Timings: How Rohini Parents Should Pick a Batch

Parents in Rohini often focus on which coaching to choose and forget a question that matters just as much: which batch time. A good batch at the wrong time leads to a tired child, rushed homework and skipped classes. This guide helps you pick timings that work.

Start with the school day

Note your child's school dismissal time and travel time home. Leave at least an hour for lunch, rest and a short break before the coaching batch. A child who walks straight from school into a two-hour class rarely learns well in the second hour.

ESA batch timings at a glance

At both our Rohini centres, batches run in the evening after school. Depending on the class and subject, they fall roughly between 3 PM and 9 PM - for example, junior classes (Class 1 to 5) usually start mid-afternoon, while senior batches for Class 9 to 12 run later in the evening. Exact timings are different for Sector 7 and Sector 15 and change with the session, so always check the current ESA timetable, where you can download or share the schedule on WhatsApp.

How to choose between two slots

• Younger children do better with an earlier slot so they have time to play and sleep on time.
• Class 9 to 12 students can manage later batches, but should still keep the last hour of the evening for homework and revision.
• Commute: if the centre is 20-30 minutes away, include the ride both ways in your calculation.
• Saturdays at ESA are for the weekly chapter test - keep that slot free.

Signs the timing is wrong

• Your child is regularly too tired to do school homework.
• Bedtime keeps getting later.
• Your child starts missing classes for small reasons.

If you see these, change the batch before changing the coaching.

Which centre is closer?

Families in Rohini Sectors 3 to 11, Pitampura and nearby areas are usually closer to our Sector 7 centre. Families in Sectors 13 to 17 and along the Bawana road are usually closer to our Sector 15 centre. Both follow the same weekly test framework.
